Artistic Interests
My interests involve improvisation with body and voice, site-specific performance, cross-cultural communication, body language and dance as a way to discover unknown versions of self.

I seek to develop insight into empathy, presentation, representation, and the effects of environment on body and visa-versa. Performances and workshops I’ve attended in Ireland, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands in 2018-2019 have opened me to the possibilities of site-specific and technologically-infused performance. I continue to feed my movement curiosities while simmering on my main explorations: the study of the relationship between movement improvisation and text/voice.
My projects involve work with musicians, writers, poets, and curators with most recent performances including collaborative performances with contemporary Irish and American poets.

'Single-Use'
Over the past four years I have been developing my piece, 'Single-Use' in both workshop, residency, and performance settings. As an activist for environmental sustainability and social equality, my goal is to continue researching this piece as a way to explore the body’s relationship to material as body, partner, and other. With plastic bags as a prop, this ‘dance’ portrays the essence of the single-use mentality in today’s modern society. How does a fast-pace disposable way of living affect our relationships with the environment and with other living beings?
